Airbrush makeup

OK...it's finally here! Jennifer Ballard makeup artistry has now completed several professional airbrush classes in NYC and we couldn't be more excited. We have been seaching for several years for the RIGHT airbrush makeup, and no it's not the infomercial on TV. I have to say I have seen airbrush makeup in person and always found it to look unnatural ... especially in natural light. It often sticks to the "peach fuzz" on your face and looks cakey. Who wants that?

But thankfully, I have found an airbrush makeup that looks flawless, lasts up to 16 hours and does not do what I really dislike about other brands. Jennifer's airbrush makeup looks natural, yet offers tremendous coverage and doesn't accentuate fine lines and wrinkles. It doesn't adhere to "peach fuzz" and best of all it's extremely light weight and luxurious. It's perfect for brides, pageants, and models who need long wearing perfection.

So remember, if you are in the market for an airbrush makeup artist, not all airbrush makeup is equal. Do your homework...look beyond the photoshopped pictures you see online.

Airbrush makeup...flawless coverage but not for everyone

As some of you may know, I will soon be offering airbrush makeup to my clients. However, I will still be using traditional makeup as well, because as you will read below, airbrush is not for everyone.

Some ideas I picked up from a course with a famous makeup artist to the stars in NYC about airbrush makeup:
-Not for mature skin
-Not for extremely blemished skin...it will only accentuate the flaws
-OCC primer is the best primer (whether using airbrush or not)
-Concealing is done with concealer, NOT airbrush makeup
-Use a goat hair eye shadow brush when applying concealer, press it in lightly, and bring concealer down under the eye to the TOP of the cheek. Also make sure to dab blemishes and over the eyebrow (this is one of the tricks you won't read in magazines...but it helps give the celebs the flawless look we are all after)
